To make apple roses, start by washing the apples, then pat them dry, cut them in half and core them. 1.

Tips and variations

This recipe is great with ingredients you buy at the supermarket, but to make it even more special you can use puff pastry and homemade apricot jam. Instead of apricot jam, you can also use peach or lemon jam, which will add a pleasant citrus note to the roses. For an even more delicious result, you can add chopped walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts to the apples.

Apple roses can be stored at room temperature, in a special airtight container, to 1-2 days. Freezing is not recommended.
