How to prepare apple tart
Start by preparing the shortcrust pastry. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add the seed oil and half the sifted flour little by little and mix well.
Knead until you obtain a compact dough.
Roll out the shortcrust pastry into the circular mold.
At this point, prepare the custard. Pour the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and remaining flour into the saucepan and mix.
Place the saucepan on the heat and mix until the cream becomes nice and compact.
Cut the apples into thin slices and season them with lemon juice.
Pour the cream onto the shortcrust pastry and place the apple slices forming a rose in the centre.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Brush the apricot jam over the cake.
If you want, you can also add a sprinkling of cinnamon to the surface, to make the apples more aromatic.
If leftover, place the tart under a glass bell jar: you can consume it within three days of cooking.
