Biscuits filled with nuts and jam: the recipe for deliciously filled sweets
I cookies filled with nuts and jam they are gods treaty simple and delicious, ideal for breakfast or to serve snack with a cup of tea: their rich and appetizing filling will conquer everyone. To make them, we prepared the dough with flour, butter, icing sugar, yogurt, baking powder and lemon zest. How to make nut and jam filled cookies
Boil the walnuts in water for about 10 minutes and set them aside.
In a bowl, mix the butter with the icing sugar using the beater.
Add the yogurt, lemon zest, flour and baking powder.
Knead by hand to obtain a compact dough.
Mix the cooked and crumbled walnuts with the ground cinnamon.
Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll out each part with a rolling pin and make a circle using the lid. Cut each circle into 8 triangles.
Spread the apricot jam on the triangles and pour the nut filling on the bottom. Roll each section to make cookies.
Bake them in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
Sprinkle icing sugar over cookies before serving.

You can save cookies filled with nuts and jam for 2-3 days inside a tin can or airtight container.
