Cheese pizza sticks: the gourmet and stringy appetizer recipe

I cheese pizza sticks they are gods with salty sourdough very soft and with a stringy filling, ideal for a aperitif or a savory buffet. Ideal to prepare instead of classic pizzas, they are really tasty and will appeal to young and old alike. To make them, we prepared the dough with milk, water, olive oil, eggs, sugar, brewer’s yeast, flour and salt. After the rising phase, the dough will be divided into two rectangles that we will fill with tomato sauce, grated soft cheese e parsley. Once the sticks are formed, they will be brushed with yellow and cooked in the oven for about twenty minutes. Here are all the steps to achieve them.

How to make cheese pizza sticks

Combine milk, water, olive oil, egg, sugar, yeast and mix 1.

Add flour, salt 2 and knead well.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap 3 and let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll them out into a rectangle shape with a rolling pin. 3.

On the first layer of dough spread the tomato puree and sprinkle with grated cheese and parsley 4.

Cover with the second layer of dough and fix the edges well 5.

Cut the focaccia into rectangles 6 and brush with melted butter.

Place two rectangles on top of each other and fold the center lengthwise using a skewer seven.

Wrap the pieces in spirals 8.

Transfer the sticks to the baking sheet and brush the yolk onto the dough 9. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Cheese pizza sticks are ready to eat ten.
