It is a particular sandwich that was born by chance in 1950, when an Argentinian tourist asked a restaurateur in Punta del Este to prepare chivito, literally “goat meat”. Having none, the restaurant owner improvised a grilled sandwich with beef, ham, mozzarella and other ingredients. The wife was delighted and since then the chivito has become one street food the most popular in the country.

In our preparation we will use a bread to stuff with beef, mozzarella, bacon, cooked ham, boiled eggs, salad, tomato and green olives. How to prepare chivito

Prepare the hard-boiled eggs and set them aside. Cut the ham into thick slices, then pat the meat dry with paper towel 1.
