He cowboy breakfast pastry it’s a square of puff pastry stuffed with sausage, vegetables, egg and cheese, to prepare a hearty salty breakfast or enjoy for a quick and easy delicious dinner like antipasti or single dish. To do this, we baked in pepper in the pan with the onionbefore adding the sausage. We will then add the scrambled eggs, so as to achieve a substantial filling. Instead, the dough will be cut into squares and stuffed. All you have to do is cook the squares of puff pastry in the oven by 20 minutes, ready to eat. Here’s how to prepare them.

Pour a little oil in the pan and fry the onion and pepper for 5 minutes 1.

Add the sausage and brown it for 10 minutes 2.

In another pan, cook the scrambled eggs with a little melted butter 3.

Cut the puff pastry into 8 squares. Place scrambled eggs, meat and grated cheese on top 4.

Close the corners and pinch to secure them well 5.

Brush the beaten egg on the dough and bake in a static oven at 190°C for 18-20 minutes 6.
