How to make Father’s Day cupcakes

To prepare the Father’s Day cupcakes, start by pouring the sifted flour, cocoa, sugar and salt into a bowl, then mix everything together quickly using a hand whisk 1.

Pour the batter into a muffin tin lined with paper liners, making sure to fill each cavity about 3/4 full. Bake at 175°C for about 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. Then remove the mold from the oven and let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack. 4.

While the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the decorative mustache. Melt the chocolate and pour it into a silicone mold with mustache-shaped cavities. Remove excess chocolate with a spatula 5.

Make sure the molds are filled to the brim 6. Transfer everything to the freezer and let the chocolate mustache solidify.

Meanwhile prepare the frosting. Pour the liquid cream into a bowl and whip it using an electric whisk. Add mascarpone, cream cheese and powdered sugar, then whisk until stiff 7.

Transfer the frosting to a piping bag and spread it over the cooled cupcakes 8. Once the chocolate has set, take the mold out of the freezer and gently remove the whiskers.
