Fried chicken: the simple recipe to make it crispy

He fried chickenalso known in the United States as “Southern Fried Chickenis one of the most famous dishes in American cuisine. In our recipe, the chicken thighs will be cooked for about twenty minutes latte and water. The chicken will then be breaded breadcrumbs flavored with paprika e Oregano and passed in beaten eggs: we made a double breading, to make it crispier after frying in hot oil. At the end of the preparation you will obtain a truly irresistible fried chicken. Here’s how to do it.

How to make fried chicken

Put the chicken, salt, water and milk in the saucepan. Cover with a lid and boil for 20 minutes over medium-low heat. Let the chicken cool.

Mix the flour with the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika and oregano in a dish. Separately, beat the eggs with the milk.

Coat the chicken in the flour mixture then dip it in the beaten eggs. Repeat the operation a second time to coat well.

Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown.

The fried chicken is ready to serve.


For the preparation, you can also use the thighsdepending on availability.


It is advisable to eat fried chicken immediately after preparation. You can still keep them for 1 day in an airtight container.
