Fried tofu: the recipe for a crunchy and delicious appetizer

Fried in hot seed oil, until golden brown, they turn into crunchy morsels and exquisite, a real treat for the palate. For best results, dab the tofu stick with absorbent kitchen paper to allow it to absorb the water and dry it well.

You can replace the soy sauce with tamari and prepare the batter with flour and water. If you don’t want to fry the tofu chunks, you can cook them in a pan with a drizzle of oil, in the oven at 180 ° C for about twenty minutes or even in an air fryer. As an alternative to batter, you can pass the tofu in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs and finally proceed with cooking in seed oil.

How to make fried tofu

Arrange the tofu on a paper towel 1 and pat it gently to absorb the water.
