I burgers at lupini they are an easy and original vegan second dish: it is a quick preparation based on lupins, potatoes, onion and basil, a really light and tasty recipe to be prepared in a few steps. Lupins are a truly nutritious legume: in addition to having a better protein – carbohydrate ratio than other legumes, they are also rich in “good” fatty acids, omega -3 and omega -6, mineral salts, in particular potassium and phosphorus, and vitamins, especially those of group B.

Lupine burgers are a gluten free dish, therefore also suitable for those suffering from celiac disease, and are very easy to prepare: in our recipe, after having peeled them, they are mixed with boiled potatoes, onion, spices and aromatic herbs. Once the discs (patty) are formed, they will simply be cooked in a pan. To enrich the recipe you can also add to the dough dried tomatoes, olives, carrots grated, semi of various types or dried fruit. You can serve lupine burgers with a seasonal salad or with grilled vegetables, accompanying them with your favorite sauces.

How to prepare lupine burgers
