How to prepare marizzi

In a bowl, mix the flour, dry brewer’s yeast, sugar, milk, seed oil, vanilla extract, honey, egg, salt, orange zest.

When the ingredients are combined, knead with your hands to obtain a smooth and compact dough. Let rise 1 hour.

Divide the dough into 12 balls (about 80 g each). Place them on the parchment paper, leaving a little space between them to prevent them from sticking during the rise. Let rise 1 hour.

Brush the egg + milk sandwiches and bake in a static oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.

Whip the cream with the icing sugar and vanilla extract to prepare the cream.

Cut the buns in half and fill them with cream. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.

The Maritozzi are ready to be tasted.
