The dough is made up of a few ingredients: flour, milk, eggs and yeast are briefly kneaded and then left to rise. When fried, the donuts will be rolled in sugar while still warm. Here’s how to prepare them.

How to prepare mini donuts with cream

Dissolve the fresh yeast in the milk. Add the egg, melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract and mix.

Add the flour, salt and continue to mix until you get a compact dough. Let rise 2 hours.

Flour your work surface and shape the dough into a ball. Cover with the towel and let rest for 15 minutes.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and form circles with a cookie cutter.

Transfer the pieces to the baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour.

Fry the donuts in hot oil until golden brown and roll them in the sugar while they are still hot.

Make a hole in each donut and fill it with custard.

storage

It is advisable to consume the mini donuts with cream immediately after preparation. Alternatively, you can freeze the donuts still raw and store them for up to 6 months.
