Prawns in puff pastry: the recipe for a quick seafood starter

Ingredients

Extra virgin olive oil

Prawns in puff pastry

Clean the prawns and season them with extra virgin olive oil, lemon, curry, salt and pepper.

Cut the puff pastry into strips and wrap it around the prawns.

Transfer to the baking sheet, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in a static oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Tips

If you don’t want the end result to have a very strong flavor, you can reduce the amount of curry or eliminate it altogether.

Keep the prawns in puff pastry under a glass bell jar: this way they will still be good even after 2-3 days.
