Puffed rice and chocolate cake: the recipe for a quick and delicious no-bake dessert

The chocolate puffed rice cake it’s a candy without cooking quick and delicious done solo 3 ingredients: chocolate puffed rice, honeyed e dark chocolate chips, with hazelnut cream decoration. Prepare it as dessert oh for a partymaybe to enrich dessert buffet: it will appeal to young and old alike. To make it, simply melt the chocolate in a bain-marie with honey, add the puffed rice and mix. The mixture will then be poured into a mold and left to rest in the refrigerator. The cake will then be decorated before being served: you can also add some to the hazelnut cream chopped hazelnutsif you prefer.

In our recipe we used chocolate puffed rice but you can also use the classic, depending on availability.

How to make puffed rice and chocolate cake

Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and mix it with the honey. Mix the chocolate with the puffed rice and mix well. Press the rice batter into the 20cm diameter springform pan and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Decorate the cold cake with hazelnut cream before serving.

You can keep the puffed rice and the chocolate cake in the fridge for 2-3 days covered with cling film.
