For the dough (Doses for a 25×38 cm rectangular mold)

How to Make Pumpkin Squares

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and pumpkin purée 1.

Stir in seed oil, milk and vanilla extract 2.

In another bowl, mix the flour with the ground cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder and salt 3.

Pour in the egg mixture and mix well to obtain a creamy mixture 4.

Pour and evenly distribute the batter in the rectangular mold 5.

Bake in a static oven at 180°C for 25 minutes 6.

To prepare the icing: mix the butter with the cream cheese using an electric mixer. Mix the ingredients well, then add the vanilla extract and icing sugar seven.

Mix first on low heat and then on high heat until you obtain a light and creamy frosting 8.

Generously spread the icing on the sponge cake then tap with the spoon to form strips 9.

Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and cut into squares. Your pumpkin bars are ready to eat ten.

storage

You can keep the pumpkin squares for One day under a bell jar, if covered with icing. Alternatively, you can keep them unfrosted for 2-3 days and add the garnish just before enjoying them.
