How to prepare rusticini puff pastry with ham and cheese

Stretch the puff pastry roll and divide it into 3 equal strips. Shape 3 sticks with ham and cheese. Place them on top of the puff pastry.

Brush the beaten egg over the dough and wrap each strip around the ham filling.

Cut the sticks into pieces. Transfer the pretzels to the pan covered with parchment paper.

Moisten them with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the sesame and flax seeds.

Bake the rusticini in a static oven at 190° for 20 minutes or until golden.

Advice

Choose the cheese you prefer, but we do not recommend using a spicy one.

storage

Store the rustici under a glass bell jar, but remember to consume them within a couple of days, otherwise they will get too hard.
