Spaghetti alla marinara: the recipe for the tasty first course with tomato, garlic and oregano
ingredients
Extra virgin olive oil
The spaghetti alla marinara I’m a primo simple and tasty, a dish to be prepared with few ingredients, easily available at home, and very quickly. It is simply spaghetti topped with a tomato sauce flavored with garlic and oregano, the same irresistible condiment of the famous pizza marinara Neapolitan. A fragrant and delicious espresso sauce that will allow you to bring a tasty dish to the table even at the last minute, perfect for any lunch or dinner with family and friends.
In our recipe we used spaghetti, but if you like you can replace them with another format of long pasta, such as bavette or linguine. If in season, you can use fresh sweet and juicy cherry tomatoes instead of the tomato sauce, and flavor the sauce with other aromatic herbs, such as parsley and basil. For a nice spicy note, you can add a pinch of red pepper fresh or dried and enrich the cooking sauce with anchovy fillets in oil, olives and some desalted capers: it will make the sauce even more savory.
