How to clean octopus

A few simple steps are enough for a perfect octopus cleaning:

  • rinse all the octopus under cold running water, paying particular attention to the suction cups that could hold some sand;
  • remove the beak, eyes and pouch from the head;
  • rinse once more under cold running water.

How to prepare stewed octopus

Clean the octopus thoroughly or buy one that is already clean, then cut it into small pieces with the help of a sharp knife 1.
