Stringy potatoes: the recipe for a rich and tasty side dish

THE stringy potatoes I am a baked side dish simple and tasty with exquisite melted cheese, one of the many ways to serve potatoes to accompany meat and fish main courses, such as sandy potatoes or potato parmigiana. It is a rich and tasty preparation that is very easy to make: just cut the potatoes in their skins wedges, arrange them in a muffin tin and bake them with donkey and flavourings, before adding the chopped mozzarella dry well and leave to melt in the oven. The end result will be a side dish stringy and appetizing that will conquer everyone.

You can of course replace the mozzarella with soft-paste cheese you have, the important thing is that it melts to make your potatoes irresistible: you can also serve them for a aperitif whimsical. Here’s how to make them in just a few steps.

How to prepare stringy potatoes

Wash the potatoes well and cut them into 4 wedges 1.

Arrange the potatoes in the muffin tin 2.

Put a cube of butter in the center of each and season with salt, pepper and minced garlic 3.

Bake in a static oven at 180°C for 50 minutes 4.

For the preparation, preferably use the red potatoeswhich you can cook in all their skins, otherwise use the variety of potatoes you have available, but peel them.
