Filled Puff Pastry Cones: The recipe for quick sweets with custard – Tale Of Travels

After making the cream, simply layer the filo sheets, brush with melted butter, and then roll tightly around the metal cones used to shape the cannoli. Fill the cannoncini, add the chocolate chips and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees: the phyllo cones will be crispy on the outside with an irresistible cream filling.

How to make filled phyllo cones

In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the cornstarch and sugar, then add the hot milk and vanilla extract and mix well. 1.

Place the mixture in a saucepan and stir over the heat until the cream thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and mix the cream with the chocolate chips 2.

Dust with icing sugar and serve the filled phyllo cannoli 8th.
