How to make stuffed pancakes in the oven

To prepare the pancakes: beat the eggs with the milk, melted butter, flour and salt 1.

Melt the butter in the pan and pour the batter. Cook the pancakes on both sides 2.

To prepare the béchamel: pour the milk and butter into the saucepan and stir until melted. Add the flour and stir over the heat until it becomes thick. Add salt and nutmeg 3.

Spread the béchamel in the center of the pancakes and place 2 layers of cheese and ham on top 4.

Close the wraps in pockets so as to perfectly enclose the filling 5.

Transfer the pockets to the baking sheet, spread the béchamel on top and sprinkle with grated cheese 6.

Repeat the operation a second time, completely covering the pockets with the béchamel sauce and grated cheese 7.

You can stuff the stuffed pancakes in the oven with cold meats and cheeses that you have in the fridge or replace the ham with grilled zucchini, mushrooms or the vegetables of your choice, depending on availability.
