Mix the flour with the sugar, salt, brewer’s yeast, egg, butter, water and mix well.

Divide the dough into 12 buns. Put them in a buttered mold and let them rise for 30 minutes.

Then bake at 190°C for 15-20 minutes.

Serve the bread and brush it with butter.


Respect the rising times, to obtain a very soft Danube.


Soft Danube should be stored in a cool, dry place, but remember to consume it within two days of preparation.
