THE fried sweet croissants they are sweet and delicious sweets, to be prepared instead of the classic fried donuts, ideal for breakfastthere snack or to serve to relatives and friends as a delicious after-meal. To make them, we prepared the dough with flour, brewer’s yeast, hot water, baking powder, flour, semolina, vanilla sugar and orange zest. Once the croissants are formed, they will be fried until golden brown and immediately dipped in granulated sugar. Their preparation is very simple and both adults and children will love them.

How to make sweet fried croissants

Dissolve sugar, brewer’s yeast and flour in hot water. Let stand 10 minutes.

Add more flour, semolina, salt, vanilla sugar, baking powder, orange zest, vegetable oil and knead.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and form half moons. Cover them with the tablecloth and let them rest for at least 30 minutes.

Fry them in boiling oil and coat them in sugar while still hot.

Fried sweet croissants are ready to be served.

storage

You can keep fried sweet croissants for A day, inside well-closed food bags or wrapped in transparent film. The ideal is however to consume them very hot, as soon as they are ready.
