To make it even more delicious, you can complement it with a vegan mayonnaise or a soy yogurt sauce.
The tofu burger can also be used as stuffing of a sandwich, a focaccia or a flatbread, complemented by sliced ​​salad, sliced ​​tomatoes and guacamole. For a gluten free version, you can replace the breadcrumbs with cornmeal or chickpea flour. You can cook your burgers in a pan with a drizzle of oil or, for an even lighter variant, in the oven at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes, or in any case until golden brown. If the mixture is not very compact, it is possible to add more breadcrumbs; if it is too dry, it can be adjusted with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil.
