He vanilla pudding it’s a dessert spoon fresh and delicious, a great classic of Italian pastry. Quick and easy, it is prepared with a few simple ingredients: milk, eggs, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla pod. Once a thick, velvety cream is obtained, it is distributed in the individual serving molds and leave to harden in the refrigerator. The result is a delicate and very fragrant dessert, adored by the little ones of the house and ideal for a snack or to offer at the end of a meal, on the occasion of a special dinner between guests.

This version of vanilla pudding is made without gelatin, but with cornstarch which makes the consistency firm and creamy at the same time. For an impeccable dessert, it is important to respect the cooling times in the fridge, so that the pudding settles completely and does not split once it comes out of the mould. We topped it with rseat the ribs, but if you wish you can add other red fruits, strawberry coulis, caramel or melted dark chocolate. How to make vanilla pudding

Pour the milk into a saucepan 1.

Cut the vanilla pod and remove the seeds with a knife 2. Add them to the milk and bring to a boil until boiling.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the sugar using the electric whisk 3.

Whisk until fluffy and frothy 4.

Add sifted cornstarch 5.

Mix gently with a spatula 6.

Return the mixture to a saucepan and return to low heat. 8.

Stir for a few minutes without interruption, as you do for custard. When the cream has thickened, it will be ready 9.

Distribute the vanilla cream in the moistened molds ten.

Just before tasting them, unmold them by placing the molds for a few seconds in hot water, and decorate them as you wish. 12.


Vanilla pudding can also be made from version cake and decorated with fresh mint leaves or fruit. If you prefer, you can use vanilla extract instead of the berry, and for a more intense flavor, you can steep the berry in the milk for 30 minutes before proceeding according to the recipe.


Vanilla pudding can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Freezing is not recommended.
