THE zeppole di San Giuseppe in the air fryer they are light and delicious sweets, a variation of the classic fried donuts, prepared on the occasion of Saint Josephhe March 19day of fathers Day. It is soft cabbage pasta full of Cream and filled with Cherries in syrup and, in this preparation, we are going to cook the zeppole in the air fryer – oil free – with a final result similar to that of donuts cooked in the oven: at the end of cooking you will obtain light and dry donuts which they do not deflatebaked in the sun 15 minutes. How to Make St. Joseph’s Zeppole in the Air Fryer

To make the choux pastry: Combine the water and butter in the saucepan and bring to a boil 1.

Add the flour, salt and continue to stir over the heat with a spoon until the dough comes away from the sides of the pan 2.

Remove from the heat, add the eggs to the mixture one at a time three times, stir with the electric whisk to combine the ingredients 3.

When you get a creamy and thick mixture, transfer it to the pocket bag with the star tip 4.

Place a square of parchment paper in the fryer basket and pour the batter in circles 5.

Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes, until lightly golden 6.

The zeppole di San Giuseppe cooked in the air fryer, if not stuffed yet, can be kept for a week closed in an airtight container. If they are stuffed, on the other hand, they must be kept in the refrigerator for 2 days.
