Pain brioche with milk: the recipe to prepare it very soft


You know how to prepare a milk brioche pain soft and fragrant? The recipe we propose is easy to follow even if you are not an expert in the kitchen. Once the dough has been made, it will have to rise for a few hours, before baking in the oven for about 15 minutes. Once ready, it is delicious still warm, to be enjoyed as is, or filled with hazelnut cream or jam: ideal for breakfast or a snack. Here’s how to prepare it.

How to prepare milk brioche pain

In a medium bowl, combine the warm milk with the sugar, dry yeast and flour.

Let it rest to activate the yeast.

Add the egg and butter and mix.

Add the flour and salt and mix well.

Let it rise for 2 hours.

Divide the dough into 5 balls (2 smaller and 3 larger).

Cover with the kitchen cloth and let them rise for 15 minutes.

Roll out the ball with a rolling pin, roll it up and close the edge well.

Repeat the operation with the other balls.

Place the rolls in the buttered pan from the largest in the center to the smallest on the sides.

Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Brush the egg yolk on the dough and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.


To prepare a delicious variant, add some chocolate chips to the dough.


Place the pain brioche under a glass bell jar: it will remain soft for about 3 days.
