The creamy croquettes I am a antipasti delicious and flavorful, made with a stuffed with milk and cooked ham which makes them truly irresistible. Ideal for preparing classic potato croquettes instead, also for an aperitif or a buffet. To make them, melt the butter in a saucepan with the onion then add the flour, milk, diced ham and chicken broth. The compound will then have to rest in the fridge, before forming the croquettes, passing them in the breadcrumbs of flour, beaten eggs with milk, breadcrumbs and fries until golden brown. How to prepare creamy croquettes

Melt the butter in the pan and sauté the chopped onion. Fry for 5 minutes.

Add the ham, flour and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the broth and stir in the milk, taking care to remove any lumps.

Cook for 10-15 minutes, until very thick, then transfer to the refrigerator to cool completely.

Beat the eggs with the milk.

Scoop out portions of the mixture with a spoon and roll them in the flour, egg and breadcrumbs.

Fry in hot oil for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.

You can keep the creamy croquettes in the fridge for 2 days inside an airtight container. Reheat them in the oven for a few minutes before enjoying them.
