Apple plumcake: the recipe for a soft and fragrant dessert

He apple plumcake it’s a sweet sweet and authentic, to taste a breakfast it’s up to to taste, accompanied by a cup of hot tea or coffee. Perfect for autumn and winter days, it is characterized by the moist dough, which almost melts in your mouth, and very fragrant, thanks to the addition of ground cinnamon and grated lemon zest. Simple and quick, it is made using only electric whisks and with readily available ingredients: 00 flour, eggs, sugar, seed oil, milk and, of course, apples. You can use the variety that you prefer or that you have at home: among the most suitable, we recommend the renettewith a soft, aromatic and not too sweet pulp.

In our recipe, apples are both added to the batter and in surface, just before baking the plumcake: the slices, arranged in an elegant and orderly way, will give the cake a very delicate and romantic appearance. When it comes out of the oven, you can sprinkle it with a Granulated sugar and, for a gourmet end to a meal, accompany it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of custard. The addition of oil, used in place of butter, also makes it light and healthy; for another recipe lighter, try the apple pie with water. How to make apple and plum cake

Peel two apples, core them and cut them into cubes 1.

Collect the apple cubes in a bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent them from turning black 2.

In a second bowl, break the eggs 3.

Add the sugar 4.

Work the ingredients with an electric mixer to obtain a fluffy and smooth mixture 6.

Mix the flour, cornstarch and baking powder, sifted together ten.

After the cooking time, remove the plum cake from the oven and cover the surface with gelatin, preferably spray 16.

If you want to make apple plum cake even more delicious, add a few chocolate chipsraisins or dried fruits in grains.

To make the surface shiny, you can brush it with a little gelatin, apricot jam or with a little hot honey (in the latter case avoid adding icing sugar).
