Baked zucchini skewers: the recipe for a fibrous appetizer

He Baked zucchini skewers they take just a few minutes to prepare and are really tasty, perfect to serve before a main course or to combine as a side dish with a meat dish. The courgettes cut into strips are rolled around the ham and cheese, closed with skewers and enriched with breadcrumbs.

Baking is done by placing the rolls in a pan greased with oil and lasts about 20 minutes.

How to prepare baked zucchini skewers

Cut the zucchini into strips and wet them with the oil.

Combine the breadcrumbs with the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

Coat the zucchini in the breadcrumb mixture.

Arrange the ham on the slices and the cheese cube to one side.

Roll them into rolls and string them onto skewers.

Pour a drizzle of oil into the pan and place the skewers in it.

Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Advice

Be sure to use fat-free ham, and line the pan with parchment paper, before pouring in small amounts of oil.

storage

Store leftover kebabs in the fridge in an airtight container – they will keep fresh for a couple of days or so.
