The apple and pumpkin pie is a fluffy and light dessert, a variant autumnal classic apple pie, ideal for breakfast and the to tasteto enjoy with a cup of hot tea. To do this, we prepared the dough with eggs, flour, sugar, grated pumpkin, Diced appleslemon juice, baking powder and seed oil, without butter. The surface will then be decorated with thin slices of apple before baking. The end result will be a fragrant and moist cake just right that will please young and old alike.

You can also flavor the dough with a pinch of cinnamon and add to the surface some flaked almonds or you can brush the cake with apricot jamto make it more lucid and greedy.

How to make pumpkin and apple pie

Peel the apples, cut one and a half into small pieces 1 and the other half in thin slices. Put them in a bowl with lemon juice so that they do not darken.

Grate the pumpkin 2 and keep it aside.

Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, sugar, seed oil and lemon juice 3.

Add flour, baking powder and mix until a dough forms. 4.

Add the grated pumpkin, the apple pieces 5 and mix well.

Pour everything into the mold and decorate with thin slices of apple 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Sprinkle icing sugar over the cake before serving.

storage

You can keep the pumpkin and apple pie for 3-4 days under a glass dome.
