This dessert can be served fresh out of the oven, still hot, or cold: its flavor will remain unchanged.

In this recipe, the flavor of bodies is enhanced by the presence of cinnamon and of apricot jam.

How to make puff pastry apple pie

Peel the apples and remove the core. Cut them in half and cut them into thin slices.

Make a cut along the four corners of the puff pastry roll 2 cm from the edge (do not make an excessively deep cut).

Use a fork to prick the center section of the dough. Arrange the apple slices overlapping slightly.

Combine the sugar with the ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples.

Heat the apricot jam in the microwave before spreading it on the slices.

Add the cold butter cubes.

Bake in a static oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Cut the dessert into squares and serve.

Advice

If you prefer, you can replace the apricot jam with peach jam.

storage

Keep leftover apple pie under a glass bell jar – it will stay tasty and crumbly for about 3 days.
