You can choose the Red onion, as in the version offered here, or replace it with white or golden: the important thing is not to slice it too thinly to prevent it from crumbling during cooking. To make it more digestible and avoid “crying” when cut, we suggest soaking it in a solution of water and vinegar, or transferring it to the freezer half an hour before starting the preparation.

If you wish, you can flavor the potatoes and onions with thyme, sage, sweet paprika or others aromatic herbs and spices to your liking, or you can sprinkle them with a mixture of parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs, so as to form a crust even more delicious. If you prefer, you can also cook them in a pan: for an equally quick and delicious result.

How to prepare baked potatoes and onions

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them, cut them into cubes and place them in a large bowl 1.
