Crème caramel: the recipe for a simple and delicious dessert

Easy to make, it involves the use of a few simple ingredients: milk, cream, eggs and sugar, which when mixed together create a truly irresistible dessert. Here are the steps to make them.

How to make creme caramel

Start by preparing the caramel, put the sugar and two tablespoons of water in a saucepan and melt over low heat without stirring.

When it turns amber, pour it into the moulds.

Pour the milk and vanilla seeds into another saucepan, bring to the boil, turn off the heat and leave to infuse for 30 minutes, then add the cream and mix.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar without whisking them.

Mix the milk with the eggs, stir and strain everything to avoid lumps.

Now put the cups in a saucepan, pour the mixture and add 2 fingers of water.

Bake in a static oven at 150°C for 50 minutes.

Then let them cool for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.

To obtain liquid caramel, it is enough to heat the bottom with hot water. And here is your crème caramel ready to taste.

storage

You can store the crème caramel in the fridge for 1-2 dayscovered with a sheet of cling film.
