Limoncello tiramisu: the recipe for a fresh and delicious dessert

The ladyfingers will be dipped in limoncello, before layering with the lemon-flavoured mascarpone cream. Once assembled, the tiramisu must rest in the fridge for 6 hours before being served. How to prepare limoncello tiramisu
Pour the eggs, egg yolks, sugar and juice of 1 lemon into a saucepan. Mix over low heat until you get a gelatinous consistency.
Remove from the heat, add the butter little by little and incorporate it. Let cool completely and set aside.
Place a bowl over a saucepan filled with water. Cook and add the eggs and sugar. Mix in a bain-marie until you obtain a frothy mixture.
Remove from the heat, add the mascarpone and stir to combine the ingredients.
In the meantime, whip the cream with the vanilla extract.
Add the cream to the cream little by little and mix well.
Cover the square mold with baking paper.
Dip the ladyfingers in the limoncello and place a first layer in the mold. Pour and distribute the cream. Repeat the operation a second time.
Pour the lemon cream on top and spread it evenly.
Place the tiramisu in the fridge for at least 6 hours before serving.
You can store the limoncello tiramisu in the refrigerator for 3-4 days well covered.
