Pancarré rolls with cream cheese: the recipe for a gourmet and quick-to-prepare appetizer
Cream Cheese Pancake Rolls are perfect for serving as an appetizer for a lunch or dinner party where there are guests and you want to whip up something appetizing, but also pleasing to the eye.
They are brought to the table in a few minutes and can be garnished in different ways: in fact, we have chosen the classic garnish, based on fresh cheese, arugula and green olives, but you can choose to add diced ham or use it instead of olives.
Here’s how to prepare them.

How to make buns with cream cheese
Crush the toasted bread with a rolling pin and cut it in half. Roll up each half and close with two toothpicks.
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil with the dried oregano and brush the buns.
Bake them in a static oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. When they are ready, remove the toothpicks.
Mix the cream cheese with the arugula, salt and pepper in a food processor. I have a cream spread.
Stuff the buns with the prepared cream and place a green olive in each.
Advice
If you have some Tomato puree handy, you can also dip the rollers in it, to color them a little.
storage
Store the rolls in a cool, dry place, but remember to consume them within a day of cooking.
