Yo rolls they are soft sandwiches cooked all together, to form one large sandwich. This typical American recipe can be served for dinner or as a side dish, but it will surely be appreciated. To prepare it, all you need is a little patience: you have to respect the fermentation times, so that it does not remain as soft as it should.

Once ready, the dish can be served hot or cold.

Come make the buns

Beat the egg in the milk with the sugar.

Add the flour, brewer’s yeast and salt and mix with the spatula.

Cover the bowl with the cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Add the butter and mix well. Let rise for 1 hour.

Squeeze the air out of the dough and divide it into 16 balls.

Cover them with the tablecloth and let them rest for 20 minutes.

Stretch the balls with your hands, put a piece of butter in the center and close them.

Butter the mold and place the balls of dough.

Let them grow for another 20 minutes.

Beat the egg with the milk and brush it over the dough.

Sprinkle the salt.

Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Advice

If you want them to be more and tastier, add the cubes of cooked ham to the mixture.

storage

Keep the rolls under a glass bell jar – they will stay soft for about 3-4 days.
