How to prepare apple pie with almond flour
Sift the flour and icing sugar into a bowl.
Add the butter and knead.
Add the egg and salt. Mix well.
Spread the dough on cling film and leave in the fridge for 1 hour.
Roll out the shortcrust pastry again with a rolling pin and place it on the mold.
Remove excess pastry and place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar, almond flour and whipping cream.
Cut the apples into slices.
Prick the shortcrust pastry with a fork, place the apple slices and pour in the mixture.
Sprinkle the almond flakes.
Bake at 180°C for 35 minutes.
