As in the original version, it is prepared with gingerbreads which, in this case, are dipped in cherry liqueur and then covered with a voluptuous cream made from cream and condensed milk, without eggs.

Cherry tiramisu can be served as fancy end of meal on the occasion of a dinner with friends or as sandwich delicious suitable for the whole family. The smooth texture and delicate flavor, with a slightly acid aftertaste, will win over even the most demanding eater.

To prepare it, simply compose the layers alternating the biscuits soaked in liquor, the cream and the cherries, pitted and macerated with sugar. Finally, you can garnish the tiramisu with some mint leaves and serve it after resting for a few hours in the refrigerator, when it will be compact and fragrant.

If you want, you can enrich the layers with white chocolate chips and, if the tiramisu is for children, omit the liquor and replace it with water and lemon, or with a few tablespoons of black cherry syrup. If you like, you can use sponge cake instead of biscuits. To impress your diners, you can serve some individual servings tiramisu in crystal glasses, with a very scenic final effect.

How to prepare cherry tiramisu

Wash, dry the cherries and collect them in a bowl. 1.

Prepare the cream, whipping the cream with electric mixers. 3.

When it starts to harden add the condensed milk little by little 4continuing the assembly.

Mix the cherries with the icing sugar 6and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Dip the biscuits in the liquor mixed with water 7.

Arrange the base of the tiramisu in a 20×20 cm dish (8).

Combine 2-3 tablespoons of the cherries with their mash liquid 10.
