Our recipe provides very few ingredients – wafers, chocolate, hazelnuts and hazelnut cream -, but lends itself to numerous variations: the chocolatefor example, it can be both dark and milk, i wafer they can be replaced with dry biscuits, while for the cover decoration you will only have to choose between chopped hazelnuts, coconut snuff, chopped pistachios, almonds in flakes, sugars colored or plain cacao in powder.

These greedy sweets, in fact, are ideal to be presented in various versions, perhaps served together with mascarpone balls with coconut and raspberries.

How to prepare chocolate pralines

Blend the chocolate wafers 1 and mix them with the hazelnut cream 2until you get a compound that can be worked with your hands 3.

Make balls out of the dough and mash them to make discs 4. Insert a whole hazelnut on each disk 5 and wrap it into a ball 6.

Let the balls cool in the fridge for 2 hours. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and pour it into a bowl 7. Add the chopped hazelnuts to the chocolate 8 and mix 9.

After the rest time in the fridge, dip the balls in the chocolate 10 and let them cool 11. Serve the chocolate pralines as a snack or after a meal 12.

storage

The chocolate pralines are preserved in the fridge per 2 or 3 dayscovered with cling film or closed in an airtight container.
