How to prepare cinnamon rolls

Pour the warm milk into a container and dissolve the yeast in it and add the sugar, mixing well.

Pour the milk mixture over the flour into a large bowl and then add the egg and start kneading.

After kneading for a few minutes, obtaining a rather smooth dough, add the soft butter.

Form a ball and let rise until doubled, covered with cling film.

Once the leavening time has passed, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.

Now prepare the butter and cinnamon cream that will go inside: combine the cinnamon with the soft butter and mix the mixture evenly.

Spread the cinnamon cream over the entire surface of the dough and then sprinkle with the brown sugar.

Roll up the dough and cut it into small wheels about three fingers wide, with the help of kitchen string, they will be perfect!

Place the rolls obtained in a buttered and sugared pan, let them rise for about another two hours.

Brush with egg and bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the icing: pour the spreadable cheese into a small bowl and add the milk, mixing well, finally add the icing sugar.

After taking them out of the oven, wait a few minutes before serving them, add the icing on top and enjoy them while they are still hot.
