Fig and walnut plumcake: the recipe for a soft and delicious dessert
The fig and walnut plum cake it is a soft and delicious dessert, a variation of the classic fig cake, ideal to prepare at the end of summer: excellent for breakfast or the snack of the whole family. For the preparation we used fresh figs and chopped walnuts, which will give the dessert a moist consistency and a delicious crunchy note. After pouring the mixture into the mold, we added the sliced figs to the surface. The plumcake will then be cooked in the oven for about 50 minutes, ready to serve with a little honey or as you like.

How to prepare fig and walnut plum cake
Beat the eggs with the sugar, vegetable oil and milk.
Sift the 00 flour, the wholemeal flour, the salt, the baking powder and continue mixing until you obtain a creamy mixture.
Add and incorporate the chopped figs and chopped walnuts.
Pour the mixture into the plum cake mold and place the sliced figs on top.
Cook in a static oven at 180°C for 50 minutes.
Decorate the plum cake with a little honey.
You can save the fig and walnut plum cake for 2-3 days under a glass bell jar or well covered.
