The pork sirloin steak with orange it is an elegant and tasty second course, ideal for special lunches and dinners. Loin is a part of boneless loin, ideal for roasting, but also sliced ​​or baked with potatoes.

In our recipe we stuffed the loin with orange slices and raw ham, and baked in the oven with the addition of potatoes. Halfway through cooking we then moistened the loin with white wine, to make it even tastier. The preparation is really easy and fast: in a short time you will bring to the table a dish that will conquer your guests.

How to prepare pork loin with orange

Wash the oranges, cut them into slices with all the peel 1 and keep them aside.

Arrange the loin on a cutting board and make deep cuts, but without going all the way. Season with salt and pepper 2.

Add a slice of orange and a slice of ham to each opening 3. Add more salt and pepper.

Tie the loin with 3 strands of kitchen twine vertically, so as to tie the slices 4. Put the loin in a pan.

Add the diced potatoes, garlic, salt, rosemary sprigs and olive oil 5.

Advice

To prepare this recipe choose organic oranges, because they will have to be used with the peel.

You can replace the raw ham with speck or bacon.

Separately you can prepare a sauce to add on the slices of loin: melt the butter in a saucepan, add the orange juice passed through a sieve, the grated peel, salt, pepper and minced garlic.
