To make them, simply boil potatoes, mash and mix with rice flour, starch gives more, sugar, Instant yeast, parsley, salt and pepper. The mixture will then be rolled out with a rolling pin and cut into strips and then into squares; the potatoes will be French fries in hot oil until golden. Enjoy them as is or serve them with the barbecue sauce or with the sauces you prefer. Here is how to prepare them.

How to prepare potato squares

Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. Boil them in salted water for 15 minutes, or until soft.

Mash the potatoes and mix with the sugar, salt, cornstarch, instant yeast, and rice flour.

Get a compact mass (you can also add chopped parsley if you wish).

Place the potato mixture in the airtight bag and roll out with a rolling pin to cover the inside.

Remove the bag and cut the dough into small squares.

Fry the squares in hot oil for 2-3 minutes, time for them to become golden and crisp.

Serve them with a sauce of your choice.

storage

It is advisable to consume the potato squares immediately after preparation. If you have any left over, you can save them for 1 day in an airtight container.
