The chocolate mousse cake It does not need cooking and is the favorite of those with a sweet tooth. The base is made with i cookieswhile the other layers are made with cream cheese, dark chocolate my hazelnut cream enriched by hazelnut grain.

It doesn’t take long to prepare it, but you have to be patient to wait for it to cool down well: it should remain in the fridge for about 5 hours.

How to make chocolate mousse cake

Mix the crushed biscuits with the crushed hazelnuts and the melted butter. Press well into the 22 cm detachable mold.

First of all, prepare the white cream. Whip 250ml of cream with the gelatin dissolved in the water, then add the cream cheese and icing sugar.

Spread the white cream in the mold.

Following the same procedure, but adding the chocolate, we prepare the chocolate cream.

Spread the chocolate cream in the mold. Leave in the fridge for 5 hours.

Spread the hazelnut cream on the cake and sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts.

Advice

If you want, you can substitute the chopped hazelnuts for chocolate chips or chopped pistachios.

storage

Store the leftover cake in the fridge, but remember to consume it within 3 or 4 days maximum.
