Snowflake Churros: the recipe for the ideal sweets for winter

Churros are sweets with a cylindrical and elongated shape typical of Spanish tradition which, in this recipe, we have made in the shape of snowflake: they are prepared with one batter, made with flour, sugar, butter, water and salt to which we have added yolk, eggs and vanilla extract. We will then create a snowflake design on which to pour the mixture with the help of a piping bag; the churros will be next fried until golden and served sprinkled with lo powdered sugar. Here’s how to prepare them.

How to make snowflake churros

Pour the water, sugar, a pinch of salt and butter into a saucepan and let the ingredients melt on the heat.

Add the flour and continue mixing until you obtain a compact dough.

Transfer it into a bowl and open it by moving the mixture with the kitchen spatula.

Mix together the egg yolk, eggs and vanilla extract. Pour in the egg mixture little by little and mix the ingredients well. Transfer to the piping bag.

Print a snowflake design and place a square of baking paper on top.

Pour the mixture following the figure. She heats the oil in the pan and pours in the churros. Fry them until golden brown.

When they are ready, cover them completely with sugar.
