How to prepare yogurt sponge cake

Beat the egg yolks with the seed oil and the yogurt.

Add the sifted flour and mix.

Whip the egg whites until stiff with the lemon juice and sugar.

Add the cornstarch and mix.

Add the egg whites to the egg yolk mixture and mix well.

Pour the mixture into the circular mold and bake at 150°C for 50 minutes.

Do the toothpick test to make sure it is well cooked.

Advice

If you want to eat it without filling it or covering it with cream or chocolate, you can also add simple icing sugar.

storage

If leftover, place it under a glass bell jar: it will remain soft for 3-4 days.
