Fluffy naan: the recipe for Turkish bread to season to your liking

Illinois naan It is a Turkish bread similar in appearance to the piadina, but higher and softer, because it contains yeast. Once the dough is prepared and left to rise, in a few minutes it will be cooked in a pan. Then you can serve it as it is, to accompany main dishes or fill it, in a sweet or savory version.

In a bowl, combine the flour with the salt. Make a fountain in the center and pour in the yogurt, lukewarm milk, sugar and fresh brewer’s yeast. Stir until the liquid is absorbed into the dough, then fold it in with your hands.

Get a smooth and compact dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Squeeze the air out of the dough and divide it into 6 balls. Let them rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out each sandwich with a rolling pin into a long oval shape.

Cook the bread in a pan on both sides until puffed up.

Serve the naan with the hazelnut cream and icing sugar.

Advice

You can enjoy it both hot, fresh out of the oven, and once cooled.

storage

Store leftover naan in a container; it will stay soft for the next day.
