Potato boats: the recipe for stuffed potatoes with a tasty filling

The potato boats I’m a contour rich and appetizing, to be made instead of the classic baked potatoes. A delicious and original recipe that you can also serve as antipasto o second dish, according to your needs. To prepare them we made little boats by emptying the potatoes in the center, we fried them and stuffed them with pollo, carrots, peas, mozzarella and spice, before cooking in the oven. In our recipe we used the round Paris carrot, which is more tender and sweet, but you can also use the classic carrots cut into slices and boiled. You can also vary the filling as you like, with bacon and cheddar, smoked cheese and speck or with the ingredients you prefer. Here are the steps to make them and delight your guests.

How to prepare stuffed potato boats

Peel the potatoes and empty them in the center to make boats 1. Fry them in hot oil 2 until golden brown 3.

Chop the chicken breast 4. Heat a little oil in the pan and cook the minced chicken with the salt, black pepper and red pepper 5. Add the round Paris carrots, the peas and cook for another 5 minutes or so 6.

Arrange the boats on the baking sheet and stuff with the seasoned chicken 7. Sprinkle the grated cheese 8 and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes. The potato boats are ready to be served 9.


You can store the stuffed potato boats in the fridge for 2 days stored inside in an airtight container.
